BOAT RENTAL
1. Reservation Procedure
The procedure for making a reservation for your boat rental by Fantasy R.I.B. Cruises is as following:
- You request for the boat you wish to rent by filling up the request form. (You will be requested to forward to us your Boat License – both sides and your passport in order you request to be acceptable).
- We send you an email (on the email address you stated on the request form) with all the important details (cost / amount of required deposit / warranty’s details / terms & conditions / ways of payment) of the requested services.
- You proceed on the payment of the required deposit either by bank transfer or with your debit / credit card by filling up the documents we send you.
2. Payment Policy & Cancellation Policy
DEPOSIT
The amount of the required deposit is 30% of the net value of the trip (including V.A.T. and all the local taxes)
Fuels are NOT included
WAYS of required DEPOSIT payment:
You can proceed on the payment of the required deposit in one of the following ways:
- Bank Transfer:
- Upon we receive your request, we will send you by e-mail (to the email address you stated on the request form) our bank account details in order you to proceed on the payment of the required deposit amount through your bank account.
- Three to five working days after we receive your payment’s receipt by email, we send you a confirmation email (on the email address you stated on the request form) with all the details of your reservation.
This payment method is available ONLY for reservations / payments made at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the boat rental you are interested in.
- DEBIT / CREDIT CARD:
- Upon we receive your request, we will send you by e-mail (to the email address you stated on the request form) all the details and the required documents in order you to proceed on the payment of the required deposit amount.
- You proceed on giving us the order of payment of the required amount with your debit / credit card, by filling up the documents we have sent you and by emailing them back to us.
- On the same day we charge your credit card and we send you a confirmation email (on the email address you stated on the request form) with all the details of your reservation.
- Credit cards accepted: VISA and MasterCard.
- AMEX credit card is not acceptable.
- Debit cards accepted: Maestro and Electron.
- Purchasers must be 18 years or older.
Important notice: The payment method of “bank transfer” is acceptable ONLY for reservations / payments made at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the boat rental you are interested in.
WAYS of payment of the balance of your reservation:
- Payment of the balance of your reservation (70%) must be made at least one day prior to the commencement of the boat rental.
- Regarding the fuel, upon the delivery procedure you get the boat with full tank fuel and during the drop off procedure you are obliged to drop off the boat with full tank fuel. The cost of the fuel (unleaded petrol only) is borne exclusively by the renter.
- For any change in the agreed boat rental (extension of the rental etc.) you are obliged to get in contact with the Fantasy R.I.B. Cruises company before making any change for the following reasons: a) to confirm the availability of the boat, b) to get informed about the additional costs incurred, c) to proceed on the payment of the additional costs incurred.
- Cash or Debit / Credit Card in our office:
At least one day prior to the commencement of your boat rental you can visit our office in Chora – Naxos Town and pay the balance of your reservation (70%) on cash or debit / credit card. On the spot, you receive the final confirmation with all the details of your reservation.
- Bank Transfer:
- You send us an email with your wish to proceed on the payment of the balance of your reservation (70%) by the method of bank transfer.
- We respond to your wish by sending you an e-mail (to the email address you stated on the request form) with our bank account details.
- Three to five working days after we receive your payment’s receipt by email, we send you your final confirmation email (on the email address you stated on the request form) with all the details of your reservation.

- You send us an email with your request for paying the balance of your reservation (70%) with your debit / credit card.
- Upon we receive your request, we will send you by e-mail (to the email address you stated on the request form) all the details and the required documents in order you to proceed on the payment of the required amount.
- You proceed on giving us the order of payment of the required amount with your debit / credit card, by filling up the documents we have sent you and by emailing them back to us.
- On the same day we charge your credit card and we send you a confirmation email (on the email address you stated on the request form) with all the details of your reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancelling your reservation up to 15days prior to the commencement of your boat rental
we return the 100% of the payable amount.
- Cancelling your reservation 8days to 14days prior to the commencement of your boat rental
we return the 30% of the payable amount.
- Cancelling your reservation 7 or less days prior to the commencement of your boat rental
there is NOT refund of any amount.
ROUGH WEATHER POLICY
As the winds in Aegean may be unpredictable, the trip may be cancelled at the discretion of the Port Authorities and/or Captain for safety and security reasons.
Should the booking be cancelled due to rough weather conditions, we are committed to work with you to reschedule your booking for another date.
If the rescheduling is unable (p.ex. due to customer’s departure), a full refund of your deposit will be reimbursed to you in the same method as it was received.
3. Complaint Handling Policy
Any complaint or dispute that may arise from the booking of cruise or service must be reported to Fantasy R.I.B. Cruises at the time of the occurrence that gives rise to the cause of the complaint or dispute in order to attempt a resolution of the issue involved. Negotiation with the service provider for any financial reimbursement on your behalf might be possible only if a complaint or dispute regarding a specific service is received by Fantasy R.I.B. Cruises before that service is completed.
4. Privacy Policy
We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. If you place an order we also collect personally identifiable information including name or company name, e-mail, phone number, VAT number, shipping and billing addresses. These data are required for invoicing and shipping.
We may contact you to resolve a dispute, or to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company or products, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail. We are aware of the new EU conditions for a General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies from 25 May 2018
The Company (hereinafter referred to as the Fantasy R.I.B.Cruises) understands the importance of providing personal data as well as electronic transactions. Fantasy R.I.B.Cruises believes it is extremely important to protect your personal data by taking all necessary technical measures. The data collected by the Fantasy R.I.B.Cruises are those required and used exclusively for the purposes for which they were collected, except for any other undesirable uses.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. 5. Terms & Conditions
- All the guests must be at the meeting point (as it has been arranged during the booking procedure) at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
- In case the guests don’t show up at the meeting point (as it has been arranged during the booking procedure) the most 30 minutes after the arranged meeting time and without any previous communication with Fantasy R.I.B. Cruises office, they are getting characterized as “Non Show” and the reservation is getting “CANCELLED” without the customers having any right to demand a refund of any amount.
- Eating or drinking, during the journey, is not allowed.
- Smoking is not allowed on board.
- In case of seasickness, please make sure in advance that you have the prescribed medicines with you and let us know about that upon your booking procedure.
- If the Fantasy R.I.B. Cruises employee, during the delivering process, finds that any of the guests is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, then he is obliged to deny to the guest his/her entrance to the boat and his/her participation to the rental, without the obligation to refund.
- Pregnant women travel at their own risk. Please considerate seriously the vibrations created by the sea waves.
- It is forbidden to dive into the sea when the engines are turned on, even if the boat is stopped.
- It is prohibited to dive in the sea without the permission of the skipper.
- It is forbidden to step on the inflatable boat balloons or anywhere else that hasn’t got step infrastructure.
- Any type of damage is caused by customers responsibility must be paid immediately, upon the arrival of the boat to the port of Naxos Town.
- The guests are responsible for their personal belongings and the boat’s skipper as well as the Fantasy R.I.B. Cruises company do not have any responsibility in case of their loss
- The boats and engines are new and have been fully inspected and serviced before each delivery.
- Prices include: insurance, ice cooler, swim ladder, all the life saving equipment- fire extinguishers according to Greek legislation and depending on the type of boat, GPS-sonar, water tank with shower, anchor.
- Additional charges will be applied upon request for the drop off and pick up of the boat at another point than what has been arranged during the booking procedure.
- Additional charged will be applied upon request for any extension on the rental than what has been arranged during the booking procedure.
- The maximum number of passengers is based on the type of boat you choose.
- We take no responsibility for any mechanical or other damage caused to the boat by your fault on board as well as for the loss of part or all of the equipment there is in the boat when delivered.
- The Boat is delivered to the renter with full fuel tank, the cost of the fuel (unleaded petrol only) is borne exclusively by the renter.
- Boats can be rented for one or more days.
- The renter / skipper of the boat must necessarily have an original legitimate permit to operate a high speed craft which has to bring with him / her during the boat rental. Also the ID Card or passport and the credit card of the renter / skipper of the boat also required.
- Boat rental requires a guarantee. The guarantee ranges between € 1500.00 and € 2000.00 depending on the type of boat. The guarantee is prepaid (before renting the boat) and is returned to the customer after the end of the rental and while all the conditions are met. In order the guarantee to be returned to the customer, the necessary check must first be made and after it is confirmed that the boat is returned to the condition that was delivered, then the company is obliged to return the guarantee to the customer.
- On the day of the departure, during the delivery procedure you will asked to sign the necessary documents for the boat’s rental (detailed list of the boat equipment, rental’s contract etc).
- Before departure, you will be asked to show your boat management skills.
(The steps 23 & 24 can be performed one day before departure by agreement of the parties.)
